Capitol Bus – Terms of Use

Welcome to Capitol Bus! These Terms of Use govern your use of our services, website, and any bookings made with us directly or via third-party platforms.

1. Booking and Ticketing

• Passengers must present a valid ticket (printed or digital) before boarding.
• Tickets can be purchased online, at authorized agents, or directly at Capitol Bus counters.
• Booking is subject to availability and confirmation of payment.
• Passengers are responsible for ensuring correct travel details (date, time, route) at the time of booking.

2. Cancellations and Changes

• Cancellation and rescheduling policies vary depending on the ticket type and channel of booking.
• Most tickets are non-refundable within 24 hours of departure.
• Changes are allowed only if requested at least 24 hours before departure and subject to seat availability.

3. Passenger Responsibilities

• Passengers must arrive at the departure point at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
• A valid ID may be required for check-in or boarding.
• Capitol Bus reserves the right to refuse service to anyone under the influence or behaving in a disruptive or unsafe manner.

4. Luggage Policy

• Each passenger is allowed one standard-sized suitcase and one personal item (e.g., backpack).
• Excess luggage or special items (e.g., bicycles) may incur additional charges or may not be accepted depending on available space.
• Capitol Bus is not responsible for valuables or fragile items placed in the luggage compartment.

5. Service Delays and Cancellations

• Departure times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, or operational delays.
• In the event of cancellation by Capitol Bus, passengers will be offered an alternative trip or a full refund.
• Capitol Bus is not liable for any indirect costs such as missed flights or hotel bookings due to delays.

6. Cross-border Travel

• For international routes, passengers are responsible for having valid passports, visas, and complying with immigration laws.
• Capitol Bus is not liable for delays or issues caused by border control processes or incomplete travel documents.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Capitol Bus is not responsible for losses, injuries, or damages arising from delays, cancellations, or acts beyond our control.
• Our liability, if applicable, is limited to the cost of the ticket purchased.

8. Changes to Terms

• Capitol Bus reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately.
